A PRIME Example of What a Collaborative Community Can Accomplish….Matters First Ever Mentors in Motion

Way to go St. George.  A community who has come together for a terminally ill child and his family.

What an example our neighbours to the north east have set.

After one of it’s residents, a 7 year old little boy, was given only months to live, the big little town of St. George ON went into collective action to bring Christmas (and Santa!) to town 2 months early.  Today, the parade will wind through the fully decked out town to support Evan and his family, enabling him to cross off an item on his bucket list.

Please follow this link to feel inspired…..and to give to this beautiful family’s cause.

*Tuesday, October 27th 2015 update to Evan’s Christmas Story…

Did you hear?  Over 7000 people gathered in St. George to watch the parade and support Evan and his family……this is almost 3 times the size of the village!!!  Community spirit does not end there…..over $40,000 has been raised to help support Evan’s brother’s education funds.  True community, true advocacy and true ACTION!

  2. I’m extremely impressed with your writing skills as well
as with the layout on your weblog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself?
Anyway keep up the nice quality writing, it’s rare to see a nice blog like this one nowadays.
